What is NLP?
NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming is a set of skills for understanding, working with and developing people to be the best they can be.
Neuro: Nervous system through which experience is received and processed through the five senses
Linguistic: Language and nonverbal communication systems through which neural representations are coded, ordered and given meaning
Programming: The ability to organise our communication and neurological systems to achieve specific desired goals and results
NLP is best described as the methodology of how people create behaviour.
All behaviour starts with a thought and when you change that thought, you change the behaviour.
All behaviour has a structure and NLP skills teach you techniques to work with these structures to help people become more resourceful in business.
When someone does something successfully, NLP skills help identify the structure of how that person is achieving their success. This structure can then be replicated with yourself and others. This is known as modelling success.
If someone is struggling with something, the structure of how they are doing this is identified and is changed (re-programmed) to give that person more choices to become more resourceful. This is known as behavioural change, and a skilled NLP Business Practitioner does this conversationally.

NLP Meta Model is the linguistic tool to retrieve information that has been distorted, deleted and gereralised so you become clear about what exactly is happening in any given situation.
People automatically distort, delete and generalise information when we talk with others. In business, it is important to become really clear about a situation and the NLP Meta Model is the tool that teaches you to ask very specific questions to retrieve information that has either been distorted, deleted or generalised in order become completely clear about a situation.
NLP Milton Model is the linguistic tool used to purposefully distort, delete and generalise information so that you can influence and persuade others to achieve their objectives.
When people are encouraged to talk about how they will do something based on their own experiences rather thank being told what to do, this creates a sense of personal responsibility to complete that action because it is their own idea.
NLP Meta Programmes is the linguistic tool used to help motivate others
Motivation comes from within. When you identify and match the specific language that someone uses to motivates themselves you build rapport with that person and it becomes much easier to keep them focused and motivated.
